Indoor Decorations : Christmas decorations inside are easier to arrange and do more things with then outdoor Christmas decorations. Under the Christmas tree, you might place a train that goes around the tree or you might display a manger scene. You can decorate the tree with lights, tinsel or a garland, and the tree topper could be an angel.

Around the home, you can have candle arrangements with pine branches and pinecones. You can add some spray snow and make a beautiful arrangement. You can also use angel hair on the fireplace mantel with some type of Christmas scene. You can put a garland up around the archways and hang your Christmas cards from the ends.

Outdoor christmas decorationOutdoor Decorations : If you have a pine tree in your yard, you can use the net lights that you just throw over tree and plug in or you might use some small bulbs that are indoor and outdoor rated. The big bulbs are great for outdoors because they throw out more light. Outdoor Christmas decorations for the lawn are plentiful as well. You can make a manger with carolers standing around it and if you are very creative, you might even have some Christmas song playing in the background.

You might have Santa Claus in a sleigh with his reindeer and the elves could be standing next to the sleigh waiting for Santa to take off. There are also the icicle lights that people put around their homes. You can even use candy cane plastic paper to wrap your porch poles and railings. Christmas decorations for the outside can be traditional yet creative.

Whether you choose to decorate indoors or outdoors, you can find that right before Thanksgiving, all the Christmas decorations are on the store shelves already and Christmas shopping seems to start earlier every year.
